Lyons Mirror, October 8, 1887.

The Bellevue Herald, a radical Democratic paper, has the following mention of our candidate for Representative: “B. B. Wynkoop of the drug firm of Henry & Wynkoop of this city, was the nominee of the Republican County Convention last Thursday for Representative. Mr. Wynkoop was born and raised in this city, and is a young man of exemplary habits and good business qualifications. Were it possible to elect a Republican in this county for the office he aspires to, there is none more capable of the honors than Mr. Wynkoop. If elected, his constituents will have nothing to brood over.”
