Ernest L. Ade, son of Joseph and Sophia P. Ade was born in Maquoketa, Jackson, IA in 1878 (no date). He was the son of Joseph and Sophia P. Ade.
Ernest was a bookkeeper for G. S. Johnson Flour Co. in Davenport before he and wife Mabel Eldridge moved in 1913 to Mason City, Cerro Gordo, IA.
They were married in the Eldridge family home, 1225 Perry, Davenport, Scott, IA by a Baptist minister on 8 Jun 1904.
Mabel was born in 1879 in Newbury, NE (no date) the oldest child of Frank W. and Louella A. Allen Eldridge (Dtr of Wm and Martha S. Allen from Pleasant Valley, Scott, IA).
Ernest died of myocardial decomp 16 Apr 1942 and Mabel died of cancer 6 Aug 1946 both in Mason City. There were no children. They are buried in Davenport's Oakdale Memorial Gardens Sec 1 Lot 140 #15674 Ade, Ernest L., #16582 Mabel, and (no COD) #18500 Bessie G.
