Maquoketa Weekly Excelsior, October 30, 1873.
Several of our Andrew friends are making arrangements to come to Maquoketa with the county seat. Mr. Levi Keck, E. J. Holmes, S. L. Baker, and others have already secured houses. We are glad to welcome them all to our town, and hope ere long they will be convinced that the removal was for the best interests of all.
