Rev. D. F. Boomershine Severely Hurt in Auto Accident

While driving in his car to fill his regular pastoral appointment at Lost Nation Sunday, the auto skidded off from a small bridge a short distance from Lost Nation, turning turtle and pinning Mr. Boomershine underneath. He managed to extricate himself and was taken by a passerby to the Edleman home where he was cared for Sunday night. Dr. Ristine of this city was called and made the patient as comfortable as possible. It proved that his shoulder was fractured and the ligaments torn and he suffered considerable pain from his ugly injuries. Yesterday Mr. Boomershine was brought home and the injured portion was placed under the X-rays where the true character of the trouble was ascertained. The many friends of the pastor deeply regret his misfortune, but are thankful that the consequences were no worse.
