WM. F. MILLER SERVICES HELD HERE THURSDAY

Last rites for William F. Miller, 67, a retired Nashville farmer who died in his home at Maquoketa on Tuesday morning, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Carson funeral home. The Rev. Harold C. Kumpf, pastor of First Lutheran church, officiated and burial was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Mr. Miller was born Mar. 30, 1888, in Goose Lake, Ia., a son of the late Chris and Elizabeth Franks Miller. On Feb. 21, 1917, he was married in Maquoketa to Mary Brey, who survives him. The couple farmed in the Nashville community until retiring and moving to Maquoketa in 1950.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Nancy McCutcheon of Maquoketa, Mrs. Ella Wulf of Goose Lake, Mrs. Etta Wulf of Grand Mound and Mrs. Hula Heuer of Dixon, Ia. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
