MRS. W. MORAN RITES ARE HELD AT LAMOTTE

LaMotte, Feb. 16 – Mrs. William Moran, 69, died Feb. 6 in a Maquoketa nursing home. She had been in ill health the past five years.

As Mae M. Conlan, she was born May 29, 1886, in Cameron, Mo., a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Rooney Conlan. Since her marriage 22 years ago to William Moran, she lived in the LaMotte community.

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 in Holy Rosary Catholic church here. The Rev. A. J. Schmitz, pastor, officiated and burial was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery at Key West, Ia. Members of the altar and rosary society, of which she had been a longtime member, attended last rites in a body.

She is survived by her husband; a sister, Mrs. Matt (Genevieve) Foran of Muskagee, Okla.; two brothers, Vincent and Justin Conlan, both of Dubuque and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and a brother, Frank, preceded her in death.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Moran of St.Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Moran attended the funeral.
