James H. Walker

Hi! I am trying to locate the date of death for a James H. Walker, if he had a will or probate, and if there are any land records that might shed light on his date of death or family. James H. Walker was born in 1807 in Blair County PA and came to Millersburg, IA about 1864 along with his adult children, Andrew D., Catherine (Walker) Elder, John, and Henry. James Walker is shown in the 1870 and 1880 Censuses for Dayton Township, Iowa County as a landowner and farmer. James was widowed apprarently prior to moving from PA to Millersburg (I belive I have verification on that, but am trying to double check to make sure there isn't a death record in Iowa County to confirm that aspect...James'wife's name was Ann).
