Belle Plaine Businesses, The Snack Bar and The Mixer

My grandfather operated two businesses in Belle Plaine around and after Dec 1948 until his death in 1955. They were The Snack Bar and The Mixer. He also operated several ice cream trucks throughout the community. I believe the trucks were labeled "Grimm's Ice Cream." I am looking for information about the businesses, including: if he owned both of them or not, who took over operations after he died in October 1955, their locations, etc. I do have a couple pictures from present day of where they were located, but I do not know exactly where they are. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!!
