Sometimes, Ancestry family trees are so frustrating!! Your great grandmother is connected to a Clarence E. Johnson [2 August 1895 --- 29 May 1967]. WRONG!! I just wish people didn't get connected without proof because it gives false ancestry links.
That Clarence had one marriage and was 15 years younger!
Anyway, I located who your great grandmother did marry in February 1943:

Last Rites To Be Conducted Mar. 11th For C. E. Johnson
On Monday, March 8th, Mr. Clarence E. Johnson passed away at his home south of Belle Plaine at 8:00 a. m. His death was caused by a heart attack. Clarence E. Johnson was born on June 6, 1880 to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Johnson in Brooklyn, Iowa. He was married to Sophia Zimmerman in February 1943. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, one son, and a stepson. His daughter, Helen, and son, Delbert, are located in Des Moines; the other daughter, Hazel Smith, lives in Blackduck, Minn; Walter Johnson of Belle Plaine is his step-son. One son, Everett J., was killed in World War II. He is also survived by four sisters and one brother. Mr. Johnson worked as a road maintenance man for forty years in Iowa county. He also was a farmer. He was Past Noble Grand of the I. O. O. F. lodge.Services were held Wednesday, March 11th from the house at one o'clock and from the Presbyterian church in Marengo at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. Steel officiating. Albert Lind, Maude Bishop, and Donna Freeze were soloists. Interment was made in the Koszta cemetery.

Sophie Johnson Dies -- Services Tuesday
MARENGO — Sophie Johnson, 82, died Saturday afternoon at a Marion nursing home. Born Oct. 10, 1892, in Iowa county, she was educated in Iowa county schools. She was married to Arthur Zimmerman in May, 1911, who died in November, 1916. She was married to Clarence Johnson in 1943, and he preceded her in death in 1948. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Rebekah lodge and Past Noble Grand circle. Surviving are two sons, Jacob Elwood Zimmerman, Penrose, Colo.; Arthur Zimmerman, Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Guy Gould, Elkader; Mrs. Floyd Vitek, Cedar Rapids; three brothers, William Wendel, Blairstown; Irvin, Cedar Rapids; and Floyd, Marengo; two sisters, Mrs. Emiline Stanton, Portland. Ore.; and Mrs. Blanche Hawkins, Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 at Hoover-Valentine’s.
