Mr. and Mrs. Schuermann and daughter, Amelia, retired from the farm in 1920, moving to Conroy, where the home has since been. Here she was active in church and community affairs, a life-long member of the Lutheran church, always devoted to her family, imparting to all about her the splendid traits of character for which she was so highly esteemed. To the bereaved family the sincerest sympathies are extended.
