Angelo Masserini, age 52 and Maggie Masserini, age 17, are indexed on the SS Oceanic from Southampton, England arriving in New York on August 30, 1911. Their destination is Oskaloosa, Iowa. Angelo Masserini and Ann Saunders were married on December 3, 1891 in What Cheer, Keokuk County, Iowa. In 1905, he is listed living in Marion County, Iowa. In the 1910 and 1930 Keokuk County, Iowa censuses, he is listed as divorced and initially immigrating in 1882. Angelo Masserini, age 23, is listed on the SS State of Nebraska emigrating from Glasgow, Scotland arriving in New York on June 7, 1882. Angelo Masserini was naturalized in the Mahaska County Iowa District Court on October 5, 1895; nationality Italian; Nat. Rec. 2, page 434.

ASSAULTED WITH KNIVESAngelo Masserina of White Takes Troubles Into Court
In Justice Bacon's court this morning, upon information filed by Angelo Masserina, Jas. McCulloch and Philigina Loncial were arraigned on the charge of assault and battery. It is claimed by Masserina that the defendants came into his house and run him out with a knife. Both pleaded guilty to the charge and were fined $5 and costs. All the participants are from White City.
