searching for lost family members

Hello,

My father was adopted in 1942 from Newton, Iowa. His mother's name was Iris Whittaker, and he never met her. I am now searching for pictures and family of Iris, as well as the father. We believe the father's name was Marvin Ham, a resident of Newton as well, but we are not sure. I am in contact with the Ham family, but I would like to contact the Whittaker family. Iris had a brother in Dubuque, Iowa, Homer Whittaker. I would like to find the following:

Homer's obituary
William C. Ham's obit (Marvin's father,married to Dora Ham, would like to know her maiden name as well)
More pictures of Iris Whittaker of Newton, Iowa
