I could not find the obit of George Ridenour in my mom's collection. I do have the obit for his mother Mrs. Calvin Sparrowgrove (first marriage to Thomas Livingston who died in the Civil War). This obit suggested George lived in or near Belle Plaine in 1934. Mom also had a very good account of the listings of burials in the cemeteries of Iowa County. I do not find William in any of those cemeteries, including Marengo I.O.O.F. Let me know if we can be of further help to you.
