Hello,

It's Virginia again! :-)

Here is the link from Iowa County Gen Web that will give you directions to Mt. Zion.

http://iagenweb.org/iowa/cem/cem_list.htm

From I-80: you want to go south on H Ave/ V52 until you come to Millersburg,Iowa.
Once in this small town of Millersburg, you go through to the stop sign (youwill see the
Elementary School ahead of you on your right).
At the stop sign, take a left & follow the curving road (H Ave/V52) several miles out of town in the country.
You will come to another stop sign. This is a 4 way stop.
Here you will take a Right turn on F67/325th St. This is a gravel road.

Follow it approximately 3- 4 miles & on the corner of F Ave & (F67 / 325th St) is Mt. Zion.

If you turn on F Ave, there is a set of cement stairs taking you up to the cemetery.
However, the other entrance is a on 325 St. It is a large gate, on the right side of the road.

Be aware there is another cemetery, Armah about 1/2 mile further west on the left side of the road.
If you get to that cemetery you have gone to far.

Mt. Zion Cemetery has no sign on the cemetery property at all.

I do not have any Seatons in my photos there at all. Is it possibly through marriage?
Here is a link that gives a listing on the names & cemeteries the people are in, also at Ia County Gen Web.
http://iagenweb.org/iowa/cem/1975-lillie/index-names3.htm#s

I do have Seatons at Community.

Hope this helps!

I can give you directions to Community also.

The Poor Farm cemetery is just off I-80 going south. You exit I-80 & turn south.
The first driveway is the Iowa County Roads Department, however, you have to go through there
to get to the entrance of the cemetery.
This may be in the process of becoming a Pioneer Cemetery. Just for your information.

Virginia
