Lenox School Records?

Hi,
Does anyone know if there are school records of any type in Lenox, Iowa County in 1880? I'm tracking down a child who was possibly farmed out to another family when her parents died. I find someone I think may be her, living in Lenox Township, Iowa County, in 1880, and it lists her as attending school. The girl i'm looking for was Ava May Speck, and she was 11 - 13 at the time. I'm hoping there may be some kind of student log at least, and it would give her full name and that might verify that it is or isnt my gal. Thank you for your time and thoughts.
