Orville was born on August 28, 1920, in Ladora, Iowa to William and Elva Hart Henry. He was raised in Ladora and graduated from Ladora High School in 1938. During World War II he served with the U.S. Army. On September 18, 1943, he married Jean Meredith at Temple, Texas. The couple lived in Texas, where he was a rancher. Orville was a member of the New Covenant-United Methodist Church of Victor, the VFW, the Masonic Lodge and the Shrine. He is survived by his son, Larry Henry of Charter Oaks, Iowa; four grandchildren; two great granddaughters; and his brother, William Henry of Mt. Ida, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
