Edna Rose Zuber, 86, died Saturday, June 5, 1999, in her home, of lung cancer. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Middle Amana Community Church, Middle Amana, by Elder Stuwart Geiger and Sister Emilie Hoppe. Burial: South Amana Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements by Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Otto; three daughters, Mary Ann Herring of Omaha, Neb., Barbara (Bill) Hollrah of Indianola and Elaine (Dennis) Zuber of Homestead; 11 grandchildren, Mike (Margaret) Herring of Melbourne, Fla., Jay Herring of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Lori Herring, Ken (Denise) Herring and Dale Herring Jr., all of Omaha, Neb., Brenda (Charlie) Hurdle and Bart Hollrah of Indianola, Bruce Hollrah of Des Moines, Bonnie (Eric) Olson of Ottumwa, Eric (Kimberly) Zuber of South Amana and Nick (Kristie) Zuber of Cedar Rapids; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise (Carl) Hergert of Middle Amana; and a sister-in-law, Erna (Walter) Wendler of Racine, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Caroline (Fritz) Shoup; a brother, Martin Jr.; three sisters, Helen (George) Bopp, Marie (Carl) Flick and Lina (Louis) Clemens; and a son-in-law, Dale Herring.

Memorials may be contributed to the Amana Church Society, the Amana Heritage Society or Hospice of Mercy in Cedar Rapids.
