Donald Dean Donohoe was born September 14, 1962, in Sigourney, Iowa the son of Donald J & Mary Ann (Tiernan) Donohoe. Dean was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Williamsburg. He enjoyed dogs and eating treats whenever he could get them. Dean died on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at REM Iowa in Hiawatha, Iowa, at the age of 61 years.

He is survived by his mother Mary Ann of Holbrook; siblings Dave “Cracker” Donohoe of Holbrook, Deanne Lehn of Parnell, Bob (Janet) Donohoe of Parnell and Michelle (Josh) Stratton of Homestead; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father.

The Family would like to express a special thank you to New Horizons, Imagine the Possibilities and Rem Iowa for all special care that they have given Dean.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Williamsburg. Burial will be in the St. Michael’s Cemetery, Holbrook. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm with a rosary service at 4:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. A general memorial fund has been established.
