Elizabeth A. Brandon, age 84, of Marengo, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at Belle Plaine Specialty Care. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery, Marengo. Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.

Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Robert (Mary) Brandon, Jr., of North English, and Jeff (Peggy) Brandon, of Marengo; four grandchildren, Doug Brandon (Brittney Fox), of Des Moines, David (Lindsey) Brandon, of North Liberty, Michelle Ayers, of Charles City, and Lisa (Ricky) Vargas, of Marengo; five great-grandchildren, Elsie and Easton Brandon, of North Liberty, Miranda Ayers, of Charles City and Melaina and Daegan Vargas, of Marengo; a son-in-law, Steve Peters, of Belle Plaine; and two sisters-in-law, Laura (Fred) Still, of Louisiana, MO, and Donna White of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brandon in 2005, her parents, Charles and Velva White, a daughter, Deborah Peters in November 2021, a brother, Dale White in 2016 and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Ann White was born February 19, 1939, in Moulton, the daughter of Charles and Velva (Mitchell) White. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1957. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Robert Brandon on June 1, 1957, in Lancaster, MO. In 1973, Elizabeth and Robert made their home in East Amana.

She worked at the Woolen Mill in Amana in the loom area and lastly, at Frontier Herb in Norway. Elizabeth enjoyed reading and canning her produce from her garden. She also enjoyed spending time with friends playing cards, going to casinos and watching game shows. Elizabeth loved her family dearly and especially loved going and watching her grandchildren participate in their activities.
