Glendora Vincent died on Sunday, !une 19,2005. Interment will be in the Ladora Cemetery. Graham's Mortuary and Mesilla Valley Crematory, Las Cruces, N.M., is in charge of arrangements.
Glendora Vincent was born in a small, sod-and-rock house in Bogue, Kansas, in 1917. During most of her career, she ran school lunch programs in Iowa, and she represented her church on the state of Iowa Methodist Council.
She was very active in church activities, and she was a member of the Ladora Methodist Church. She attended services at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Las Cruces.

She also participated in many activities at Encantada Park, teaching swimming aerobics and indoor aerobics during the winter.
Vincent is survived by one son and his wife, Thomas and Chloe Vincent, Las Cruces; her sister, Alma, Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandsons, Thomas II, Atlanta, and Anthony and Lance, Las Cruces; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who was a superintendent of
various schools in Iowa for over 40 years.
