Lennis Elna Flores was born March 8, 1938, in Orange, California. The daughter of Herbert and Elna (Roberts) Newkirk. She attended St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from Orange High School, in Orange California. She grew up in California and moved to Williamsburg in 1955. Lennis was united in marriage to Verne Doehrmann and to this union they were blessed with four children. They later divorced. She later was united in marriage to Stephen Flores on December 19, 1981 in Orange, California. He died in 2011. She enjoyed crocheting, working on crafts and spending time with family. Lennis passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Briarwood Healthcare Center in Iowa City at the age of 83.

She is survived by four children, Keith Doehrmann of Plantersville, Texas, Kevin (Lynne) Doehrmann of Williamsburg, Kenneth (Helen) Doehrmann of Parnell and Kerri (Val) Holub of Williamsburg; 5 grandchildren, Abby Doehrmann Jacob Holub, Josh Holub, Zach Doehrmann and Jill Holub and a sister Janice Wiebold of Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stephen and a brother Richard Newkirk.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time at the church.
