Nancy Catherine Fisher died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Compass Memorial Hospital in Marengo at the age of 84 years.

Celebration of Life Service was 10:30 am Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Burial was in the Wellman Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. A memorial fund has been established for North English QRS. Nancy Catherine Fisher was born March 18, 1937, the daughter of John Sr and Maxine (Baugh) Durst. She graduated from Keota High School. Nancy was married to Carroll Fisher and to this union they were bless with four children. They later divorced. Nancy worked at Owens Brush (Oral B) for 42 years. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, woodworking, being outdoors and going to the Iowa State Fair

She is survived by four children, Julie (Hunter) Tandy of Columbus Junction, Jerry ( Dawn) Fisher of Washington, Terry (Karri) Fisher of Wellman and Tracy Fisher of Wellman; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Duane (Peggy) Durst and John Jr. (Syd) Durst all of Wellman; a sister, Jo Criss of Washington and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Durst of Wellman. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael and Richard Durst.
