Ronald Edwin Eggert passed away Tuesday Aug. 13, 2019 at Salem, Oregon. He was formerly of Victor.

Celebration of life was held on Friday Aug. 23, 2019 2 p.m. PDT at Salem First Church of the Nazarene Salem, Oregon.

He was born on Jan. 27, 1945 to Kathleen (Fullmer) and Elmer Eggert. He graduated from HLV Community School in 1963. He graduated from Moody Bible Institute’s Pastors Course in 1966, completing his B.A. in Bible in 1969. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1973 and has served in pastoral ministry for over 40 years.

He currently was serving at Salem First Church of the Nazarene in Salem, Oregon.

He married Dianna Hansen on Aug. 24, 1967 at Missoula, Montana.

He is survived by his wife Dianna and three children: Jodi Eggert Clarkson, Portland, Oregon, Jeremy (Jessica) and Jonathan Eggert Bend, Oregon and six grandsons. Also surviving are two brothers Keith (Sandi) Eggert and Dennis (Mary) Eggert.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jessica.
