"DR. CHAS. R. BEAN DIES AFTER FOUR WEEKS' ILLNESS

Dr. Charles R. Bean, 40 years old, died yesterday at the home of W.H. Ellis, 3216 West Seventh street. He had been ill four weeks with typhoid fever.

Dr. Bean was an osteopath and had an office in the Security building. He was a member of the Shrine, the Modern Woodmen of America and the Odd Fellows.

He is survived by a son, Carl C., and his father, J.W. Bean, 1509 West Twenty-eighth street, and a brother, I.E. Bean, of Grinnell, and a sister, Mrs. Lola Simmons of Moravia, Ia.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the White funeral establishment. Members of Dr. Bean's Masonic lodge will attend.

The body will be sent tomorrow to Ladora, Ia, where burial will take place. Masons will conduct services at Ladora."
