STANLEY MAHANNAH
Des Moines

Stanley Mahannah, 83, of the 3100 block of East Shawnee Avenue died of cancer May 12 at a hospice in Palo Alto, Calif. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be held at a later date in Des Moines.

Mr. Mahannah was born in North English and had lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He was a former minister with Disciples of Christ Church in Maxwell, Adel and Des Moines and had worked in the fraud division of Job Service of Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Grace (Hudson); two sons, Ross of Belmont, Calif., and Stephen of Minneapolis; a sister, Kathryn Ehrhardt of Adel; a brother, Donald of Oakland, Calif.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

O'Connell Chapel by the Wayside in San Mateo, Calif., handled cremation.
