Kenneth Danskin-funeral services for Kenneth R. Danskin, 75, rural Marengo, were held Thursday June 18 at Hoover-Valentine Funeral Home. He died June 16, 1992 at Rose Haven Nursing Home where he had been a resident since April 23.
Burial was in the Marengo Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dean Kinzenbau Jr., John Danker, Wayne Conrad and Bill Danskin, all of Marengo; Newell Arp, Williamsburg, and Larry Davis, Ladora.
Kenneth was born Feb 17, 1917, the son of Ralph and Freida Schumann Danskin, at rural Marengo.
He married Norene Blaine Dec 20, 1938 at Tipton, (IA). A lifetime resident of rural Marengo, he farmed until retiring.
Danskin is survived by his wife, one brother, Clyde, Marengo; one nephew, Dan Danskin and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
