Bertha Reifenstahl, 85 of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House. Celebration of life services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Brosh Chapel & The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel.

Bertha was born August 27, 1931 in Rowley, the daughter of Eugene and Mary Jane (Timpson) Zerba. She was united in marriage to Frank Dvorak on April 26, 1953. To this union six children were raised. They later divorced.

She was later united in marriage to Dean Reifenstahl. Bertha worked for many years as a waitress at various restaurants. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, raising her flowers, and spending time with her family, especially the many grandchildren.

Bertha is survived by her children Mary (Jim) Henderson of Marion, Helen (Mike) Ramsey of Williamsburg, Joan (Dale) Andrews of Rowley, Janie (Jim) Clinton of Toledo, Kenny (Traci) Dvorak and Debbie Dvorak (Ray) both of Cedar Rapids; eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her brother Merwin (Marge) Zerba Sr. of Hiawatha, as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean, her siblings Ralph, Raymond, Rowland, Lawrence and Harlan Zerba, and Harriett Pisarik.
