Betty Ann Burrows, 69, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017, near Williamsburg, Iowa. She was born on May 20, 1947, in Toledo, Iowa, the daughter of G. Paul and Leona (Graff) Fogel. Betty was a 1965 graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, Iowa.

On February 6, 1971, Betty was united in marriage to Dr. Kenneth Ray Burrows in Cedar Rapids. Two children were born to this union. The family lived in Manchester where Ken had a dental practice. Betty worked with Ken as his receptionist.

Betty and Ken wintered in Texas for 21 years. She enjoyed dancing, cards, tennis, sewing, and visiting with her friends. Betty was a loyal volunteer at the Manchester Camp Courageous Garage Sale and at Plagman’s Barn. She was also on the Manchester Cemetery Board for 20 years. Above all else, Betty enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Kenneth Burrows of Manchester; her two children, Travis (Laura) Burrows of Bloomington, Illinois, and Jane (Rod) Glosser of Centerville; four grandchildren, Devon and Amory Glosser, and Hudson and Preston Burrows; her parents, G. Paul and Leona Fogel of Marshalltown; one brother, Keith (Rhonda) Fogel of Clinton; and four nieces and one nephew.

Betty was preceded in death by her grandparents.
