Celebration of life service for Larry J. Shaull, 64, Williamsburg, was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Williamsburg. He died Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, at his home.

Memorials are for Iowa Lake Scout Camp.

Larry John Shaull was born April 16, 1952, in Belle Plaine, the son of Harlyn (Gump) and Elaine Catherine (Meyer) Shaull. He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1970 and Loras College in 1974.

He married Colleen C. Murphy on Dec. 28, 1974, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Parnell. He was employed by Home Oil in Williamsburg, Iowa County Assessors and later the Johnson County Assessors Office. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching his grandsons play baseball and was an avid sports fan including the Williamsburg Raiders, Iowa Hawkeyes, the Dodgers and was a Packer Backer.

Shaull is survived by his wife, Colleen; a son, Todd (Melanie) Shaull, Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Emily (Shane) Phillips, Williamsburg, and six grandchildren, Patrick, Breanna, Kyla, Landon, Hanna and Ian.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Cathy Shaull and an infant, Jean Shaull.
