Williamsburg-Kenneth William Landuyt was born May 22, 1950 in Montezuma, Iowa, the son of Oscar A. And Margareta (Bringmann) Landuyt. He graduated from Tri-County High School.

Kenny was united in marriage to Sharon Rathjen on October 28, 1978 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. To this union they were blessed with three daughters. They later divorced.

Kenny worked as a mechanic through out his life. He lived in Williamsburg a number of years before moving out to Oregon where he lived for 15 years before returning back to Williamsburg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, watching NASCAR and ME-TV, most recently he enjoyed spending time on the family farm.

Kenny was a former volunteer fireman for the Williamsburg Fire Department.

Kenny passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a courageous battle with his two girls by his side at the age of 65 years.

He is survived by three daughters: Amy (Jeremy) Kaiser of Peosta, Kimberly (J.J.) Frahm of Victor and Shannon Pasko of Rincon, Georgia; five grandchildren: Morgan, Logan and Nathan Kaiser, Nyla and Hope Frahm; a brother: Art (Barb) Landuyt of Williamsburg and a sister: Barbara Addy of Warrior Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents: Albert & Emma Bringmann and Emil & Emmerance Landuyt; a nephew: David Bloomquist and a great nephew.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Pastor James Parks will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Victor Memorial Cemetery in Victor. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
