Jayde Miller

Private graveside service for Jayde Carter Miller was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Ohio Cemetery, south of Ladora. The daughter of Alexandra Miller, Ladora, she was stillborn Sept. 25, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

Smith Funeral Home, Victor, was in charge of arrangements.

Jayde was very much loved and will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her mother, Alexandra Miller; her grandparents, Tim Miller, Blairstown, and Todd and Cathy (Root) Essick, Ladora; an uncle, Clayton Essick, Ladora; an aunt, Makenzie Essick, Winterset, and many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Willis and Joann Miller and George and Carolyn Root.
