William Fleming

Service of the angels for William Frederick Fleming, son of Patrick and Amy Smith Fleming, Marengo, formerly of Cedar Rapids, was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Belle Plaine. He was stillborn Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015.

The Rev. Michael Mescher officiated at the service.

Burial was in the Koszta Cemetery, rural Marengo.

William is survived by his parents; a brother, James; a sister, Kathryn; his paternal grandparents, David and Ruth Fleming, Iowa City; his maternal grandparents, Fred and Deb Smith, Luana, and his great-grandparents, Jean Smith, Monona, and Clement and Elizabeth Pins, Epworth.
