Kenneth Seaba, 79

Funeral service for Kenneth B. Seaba, 79, was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Holm Funeral Home, Sigourney. He died Aug. 29, 2015, at the Keokuk County Health Center, Sigourney.

Burial was in Garrett Cemetery, Delta.

Memorials may be made to Keokuk County Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Kenneth Benjamin Seaba was born Jan. 14, 1936, east of Sigourney, the son of Benjamin Henry and Letha Leora Ulin Seaba. He attended Garibaldi School.

He married Patricia Ann Rose Oct. 12, 1957, in Eldon. The couple lived and farmed in the Sigourney and Webster area all of their married lives. She died April 24, 2008.

He was employed at Amana for 40 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, restoring old tractors, quilting, playing cards, his family and his grandchildren.

He married Pauline Baxter Stoner Smith March 10, 2012, at the English River Church of the Brethren.

He was a member of the English River Church of the Brethren and the Red Power Tractor Club.

Seaba is survived by his wife, Pauline; four daughters, Mary Lou Miller, North English; Linda (Mark) Neff, Keota; Sandra (Bill) Baird, Webster; Diane (Arthur) Streigle, Pontiac, Mo.; two stepsons, Robert (Crystal) Stoner, Sigourney, and Richard Stoner, Wellman; 10 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; four brothers, Donnie (Carolyn) Seaba, Atalissa; Keith Seaba, Wellman; Stanley (Betty) Seaba, Wellman, and Gordon Seaba, Brighton, and one sister, Betty (Rodger) Alderson, Sigourney.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; his parents; one sister, Earlene Morrison; one brother, Eugene Seaba, and a grandson, Joey Baird.
