Jack Tuttle, age 78 of Marengo, died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Colonial Manor of Amana. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 14, 2015, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Boyd Kuester officiating. Burial will be in the Victor Memorial Cemetery, Victor, IA. Visitation: 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; two children, Rodney Tuttle of Colorado, and Lisa Foster of Illinois; three grandchildren, Justin Foster, Jenifer Foster Evans and Shaydon Tuttle; and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Jean, Ann, Shirley and Betty, and a sister-in-law Cleo, along with many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Howard, an infant sister, two nephews, and a brother-in-law Robert Schutterle

Jackie Dean Tuttle was born May 24, 1937 in Victor, Iowa the son of Howard and Frances Keeney Tuttle. The family moved to Ladora where he and his siblings grew up in a small town farming community. Jack graduated from Ladora High School and married Sharon Honemann. The couple moved to a farm near Marengo where they raised their family. Jack later purchased a farm and built a home where the family still resides. He spent many hours working with his horses and animals, and was a member of the Ladora Saddle Club, and the Iowa Draft Horse Association. In later years he enjoyed leather and wood working.
