Robert H. Leahy, 82, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015, at his home, with his beloved wife by his side. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial, with military rites: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Survivors include his wife, Pat; two daughters, Kim (Lenny) Mumm and Amber Leahy, and a sister, Faye Roberts, all of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, and five great-grand-children.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Devanee; a son, Shawn; a brother and five sisters.

Bob was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Conroy, the son of John and Florence Olson Leahy. He married Virgene L. "Pat" Holscher on April 6, 1956, in Cedar Rapids. Bob was a glazier for Allied Glass for over 35 years, retiring in 1994.

He was a member of the American Legion, the local glaziers union, and proudly served in the United States Army. Bob was an avid Hawkeye fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, doing yard work with his John Deere mowers, and especially the time he spent with his friends and beloved family.

His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial fund has been established.
