Louis C. Coover

Louis C. Coover, 73, of 1630 55th St., died of heart ailment Sunday at Hillhaven Convalescent Center West. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Coover was born in Marengo and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired in 1975 from Radio Trade Supply Co. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Aurolyn V.; a brother, Merritt of Rogers, Ark.; and a sister, Florence Branson of Pasco, Wash.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Westover Funeral Home.
