Funeral service for Vicki S. Bahr, 43, Swisher, was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Clover Ridge United Methodist Church, Walford. She died Thursday, May 21, at her home.

The Rev. Mike Townsley officiated at the service.

Burial was in Hala Cemetery, rural Walford.

Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous.

Vicki Sue Bahr was born March 14, 1972, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Orville Dale and Grace Koch Bahr. She received her education in the Prairie Schools (College Community), graduating in 1993.

She worked for 12 years at Goodwill as a clerk. She liked to sing, dance, color, go camping and watch movies. She loved many different foods but was especially fond of KFC at Sunday family dinners. She looked forward to and cherished the time spent with family.

Bahr is survived by her mother, Grace “Pat” Bahr, Swisher; two brothers, Ricky (Karen) Bahr, Marengo, and Kevin Bahr (Sherri Gillick), Swisher; along with nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Orville; one brother, Randy, and her grandparents, Dale and Irene [Kopf] Bahr.
