MARENGO -- Regina M. Berry, 88, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, by the Rev. Morris Hurd. Burial: Marengo Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be contributed to Marengo Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by a son, Corwin and special friend, Jane Rankin of Monroe, Iowa; a daughter, Esther Olson and husband Richard of Marion; eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl on July 12, 1973; five brothers and a sister.

Regina Madge Wall was born Jan. 24, 1916, in Bussey, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Wall and Maude L. Kearney Wall. She graduated from Marengo High School in 1934 and she married Earl C. Berry in August 1939.

Regina was employed as a secretary at Pioneer Seed Co. for many years.
