Funeral services for Teresa J. Shannahan, 18, fatally injured in an automobile accident early last Wednesday morning, were held Friday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic church, with Rev. J. J. Gaule officiating. Music for the service was by St. Mary’s choir with Mrs. Irene Wetjen at the organ. Pallbearers were Tom Shannahan, Dan Rourke, Bob Beilstein, Ken Stohlmann, Larry Gorsch, Duane Schaefer. Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery.

Daughter of Joseph J. and Kathryn Gallagher Shannahan, she was born in Williamsburg Oct. 13, 1949. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic church.

After her graduation from Williamsburg high school in 1967, she had attended Upper Iowa college at Fayette the past year.

Surviving are her parents; three sisters: Sandra, Marcy and Julie.
