Mildred Fuller, 89

Funeral service for Mildred R. Fuller, 89, Marengo, was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. She died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Marengo Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Jim Davis officiated at the service.

Burial was in Genoa Bluff Cemetery, rural Ladora.

A memorial fund has been established.

Mildred Ruth Conrad was born July 23, 1923, in rural Marengo, the daughter of John and Emma Bollenbacher Conrad. She attended the Oak Grove School, rural Marengo.

She married Harley Fuller Feb. 17, 1952, in Marengo. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked for a time at the nursing home, at the bakery in Marengo and also in Amana. She also worked at the Amana Woolen Mill.

She enjoyed car races, reading and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Ladora Methodist Church.

Fuller is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, in 1992; her parents; one daughter, Linda Kay, in infancy; one son, Richard, in 2011, and four sisters, Marie Finley, Irma Wiedemeier, Selma Kuhnle and one sister in infancy.
