Margaret Bamrick, 89

Funeral Mass for Margaret N. Bamrick, 89, Williamsburg, was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Williamsburg. She died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Highland Ridge Care Center, Williamsburg.

The Rev. Joseph Roost officiated at the service. Organist was Rev. Roost and vocalists were Bill and Rita McDonald and Jane Osborn. Hymns were “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Bread Of Life,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Prayer of St. Francis.”

Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Amy Holt, Bridget Bamrick, Colin Bamrick, Chad O’Donnell, Elizabeth O’Donnell, Matthew O’Donnell, Gabrielle Buckner and Katrina Buckner. Honorary pallbearers were Mary Skyles, Joe Bamrick, Jack Bamrick, Dick Bamrick, Helen Kapler, Bridgette Solh, Marjorie Nowell, Paul Bamrick and Orville Weise.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Margaret Nancy Bamrick was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Hibbing, Minn., the daughter of Martin and Margaret (McMahon) Tellor. She received her bachelor of arts degree at St. Scholastica College, Duluth, Minn.

She married Martin Patrick Bamrick Aug. 17, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minn. She worked in the medical library at hospitals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Waterloo, Fort Dodge and Webster City. In 1969 she moved to Williamsburg and worked for the University of Iowa in medical records.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Bamrick is survived by her husband, Martin, Williamsburg; three children, Katherine Bamrick, Coralville; Jim Bamrick, Victor, and Susan and Dr. Michael O’Donnell, Tipton; one son-in-law, Charles Buckner, Wyoming, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Amy Holt, Bridget Bamrick, Colin Bamrick, Chad O’Donnell, Elizabeth O’Donnell, Matthew O’Donnell, Gabrielle Buckner and Katrina Buckner; four great-grandchildren, Riley Holt, Riann Holt, Rhielle Hansen and Casen Bamrick; one sister, Katherine Nordquist, Minneapolis, Minn., and one sister-in-law, Rosemary Tellor, Adrian, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Martin Tellor, James Telor and William Tellor, and one daughter, Nan Buckner.
