Graveside services for Robert K. Klein, 76, Galesburg, Ill., formerly of the Marengo area, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the Marengo Cemetery, Marengo. He died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at St. Mary’s Square Living Center, Galesburg.

The Rev. Diane Miller officiated at the service.

A memorial fund has been established.

Robert Keith Klein was born Aug. 20, 1936, in Iowa City, the son of John and Vivian Ward Klein.

He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth and Betty Klein and Elmer and Kathy Klein, all Cedar Rapids; along with nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Hazel May Klein, and two brothers, Delmar and George Klein.
