Peter A. Zimmerman, age 51, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Amana, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 10, 2012 following a lingering illness. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Amana Cemetery with Elder Eleanor Hoehnle officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be contributed to Camp Courageous or the Amana Church Society. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.

Peter was born on January 11, 1961 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Paul and Emma [Kolb] Zimmerman. Peter had been a resident at North Woods Living in Fort Dodge for many years.

He is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters Carla Vido and Ann Zimmerman.
