April 15, 1956 - September 25, 2010

Thompson, Nelson L., 54, Park City Cracker Barrel general manager, passed away September 25, 2010.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Mortuary.

Nelson was preceded in death by his mother Mary and brother Michael.

His survivors include wife Patty of Wichita; daughters Emily (David) Kelin of Wilmington, DE., Jennifer McCormick of Kearney, NE., sons Anthony, Christopher, Patrick and Francis Thompson all of Wichita; father Lester J. Thompson of Ames, IA.; brothers Paul Thompson of Winfield, IA., Doug Thompson of Ankeny, IA.; grandchildren Keira and Aidan McCormick.

Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita, KS

Funeral services for Nelson L. Thompson, 54, Wichita, Kan., formerly of Williamsburg, were held Sept. 29 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, Wichita. He died Sept. 25, 2010.

Burial was in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Christus.

Thompson is survived by his wife, Patty; two daughters, Emily Klein and husband David, Wilmington, Del., and Jennifer McCormick, Kearney, Neb.; sons, Anthony, Christopher, Patrick and Francis Thompson, all Wichita; his father, Lester J. Thompson, Ames; two brothers, Paul Thompson, Winfield, and Doug Thompson, Ankeny; grandchildren, Keira and Aidan McCormick.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and one brother, Michael.
