Funeral services for Agnes E. Morrison, 94, Malcom, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Victor. She died Monday, March 21, 2011, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

The Rev. Nicholas Huelsman officiated at the service.

Burial was held privately at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery near Victor.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2656 CC Ave., Victor, Iowa 52347.

Agnes E. Morrison was born (Dec 7, 1916) the youngest of 11 children to Ernest Frederick Martin Moritz Timm and Anna Susanne Meyer, near Victor in Lincoln Township. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Guernsey High School in 1935.

She married Charles “Bud” Morrison May 1, 1938, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. The couple were blessed with two children, Mary and Paul. They were business partners in gas delivery, lime hauling and a farming operation. She continued to live in Malcom following her husband’s death in 1985.

Her faith and her family were most important to her. She was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Victor, where she was baptized and confirmed.

Morrison is survived by one daughter and her husband, Mary and Cliff Schultz, Malcom; six grandchildren, Ann Grant, Christen Schultz and Chip Schultz, all Des Moines; K.C. Morrison and wife Stephanee, Tampa, Fla.; Kaelyn Jongeward, St. Paul, Minn., and Kammi, Minneapolis, Minn.; 10 great-grandchildren, Maddie and Quinn Grant, Ellie Dueland, Audra, Elizabeth and Fred Schultz, Kennen, Aden and Ashton Morrison and Landon Jongeward.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Paul, in 1982, and her siblings, Marie Baethke, Theodore Timm, in infancy, Emma Doty, Martha Horn, Florence Ranfeld, Forest Timm, Albert Timm, Raymond Timm, Ernest Timm Jr. and Arthur Timm.
