Funeral services for Edward D. Edwards, 89, Rudd, formerly of Williamsburg, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Faith Baptist Church, Mason City. He died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Heritage Care Center.

The Rev. Miles Grismore officiated at the service.

Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church.

Edwards is survived by one brother and his wife, Ivan and Verna Jean Edwards; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. (Hansen) Edwards, in 1996, and his parents, Charles A. and Carro Collingwood.
