Funeral Services for Marilyn E Gorsch, 76 were held Sunday, Sept 12 at the Community Church, rural Deep River. She died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999 at her home in Millersburg. Pastor Jack Olsen officiated the ceremony. Powell Funeral Home, North English was in charge of arrangements, and burial was the Community Cemetery.
Marilyn graduated from Millersburg High School in 1941. On February 7, 1943, she married Edward Gorsch at the Community Church near Millersburg. The couple lived and farmed in the rural Deep River area. She moved to Millersburg after her husband death in 1996. She was a member of the Community Church and the church's Mission Circle. She also helped many years at the Ease Iowa Bible Camp and Millerbury Congregate meals. She is survived by her 12 children, 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a sister and two brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son Robert.
