Andy White Died Early Monday Morning At Home

Andrew Martin White passed away at 2:45 a.m. Mon., Sept 19, after suffering a stroke. He died at his home, a mile and a quarter north of Williamsburg at the age of 77.

Mr. White was a son of John and Mary Hogan White and was born Feb. 28, 1878, in Ireland. He came to Iowa in 1900. Nov. 22, 1911, he married Margaret Noonan of Marengo. She passed away Dec. 8, 1943.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Sept. 21, at St. Mary's Catholic church in Williamsburg with the Rev. J. J. Gaule offering the requiem mass.

Burial was in Calvary cemetery at Marengo. Serving as pallbearers were Leo Driscoll, Julius Buser, Arthur Mews, Esra Zuber, Leo McMenomy and Delmar Wetjen.

Surviving are one son, John Vincent White; three grandchildren, Priscilla Kay, Jan A. and Margaret Ann; and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Murphy of Ireland.
