Death Comes on Sunday to Ohio Community Resident

Funeral Services for Frank Slager at Ohio Church, Tuesday Afternoon

Frank Slager, for nearly his entire life, a resident of the Ohio community, died last Sunday, March 29, 1931, at the age of 64 years, 5 months and 3 days.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Ohio church with which he united three years ago following his conversion in the Jones revival meetings at Ladora. The Rev. E.P. Spurlock officiated.

Mr. Slager was born in Austria, October 25, 1866. He came with his parents to America when but three years of age and has since lived in the Ohio community.

Left to mourn his departure are three brothers and three sisters, a sister and two brothers having preceded him in death. Those surviving are Will of Williamsburg, John of Marengo and George of Victor, Mrs. John Klever and Mrs. Fred Klever of Williamsburg and Mary who made her home with her brother.
