Donna Jean Lehnst, 12 Dec 1929 – 15 Aug 2010, 80 yrs

Celebration of life memorial service for Donna J. Lehnst, 80, Williamsburg, was held at 10:30 a.m. Tueday, Aug. 17, at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Williamsburg. She died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. The Rev. James Parks officiated at the service. Organist was Peggy Wardenburg. Hymns inclued “How Great Thou Art,” “In the Garden” and “Precious Lord, Take My Hand.” Burial will be at a later date.

Donna Jean Lenhst was born Dec. 12, 1929, in Omaha, Neb., where she graduated from Metro High School. While living in Omaha, she had worked in quality control for a major marketing company for over 20 years.

In her later years, she moved to Williamsburg. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Red Hats, United Methodist Women, Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxiliary in Omaha.

Lehnst is survived by three children and their spouses, John and Jeanie Lehnst, Williamsburg; Vicki and Jeff Adams, El Dorado, Kan., and Karen and Doug Munch, Richmond, Va.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandcildren and two sisters, Dixie Harrison and Mona Eddy, both Omaha.
